EuPRAXIA-DN Fellow Divya, based at CIVIDEC Instrumentation Vienna and TU Vienna, participated in the 17th Vienna Conference on Instrumentation (VCI 2025), held from February 17 to 21, 2025, at TU Wien. The VCI is organized by the Institute of High Energy Physics (HEPHY) of the Austrian Academy of Sciences and TU Wien, bringing together experts in instrumentation technologies from fields such as high-energy physics, medical diagnostics, and quantum sensing.

Divya presented a poster titled "High-Precision Alpha Spectroscopy Using Solid-State Detectors," where she showcased her research on the performance of single-crystal chemical vapor deposition (sCVD) diamond detectors. The study focused on achieving high energy resolution through alpha spectroscopy using an unsealed ²⁴¹Am source in a vacuum environment (10⁻³ mbar). Data acquisition was carried out using CIVIDEC’s high-resolution system, ROSY® AX106, and the experimental results were validated using Geant4 simulations. Divya’s research is part of her EuPRAXIA project and contributes to the development of Diamond Beam monitor for radiation environments at facilities such as LASER Plasma accelerators. The conference provided a platform for discussions, networking, and knowledge exchange among international researchers and industry partners.
